My Sadness

There's comfort in my sadness

A feeling of home

I know where I am in my darkness

Tried to fight it, and I almost lost it

Happy in my own hatred

Content in my discontent

My discomfort brings me home

Embarrassed by my dark embrace

My emptiness is full of darkness

A void full of despair

Shedding my hope to reach hopelessness

Pleasure comes from a lack of enjoyment

Actively seeking my worthlessness

Feeling fulfilled with low esteem

Worthy of all defamation

But never wanting my sadness to end
